So I've always felt Xbitlabs to be one of the best and most thorough review sites, although their reviews do take longer then the other major sites.

Yesterday I was going through their 4850 CF article and it shows something WAAY different than everyone else.

The worst example being CoD 4, for Xbit it doesn't scale at all in their test, whereas the other sites show 100% scaling.

Same goes for lots of other titles, they show very poor scaling compared to other reviews I've seen.

Theres the link.

What could be the reason?

I see their mobo only offers x8 PCI-E 1.1 instead of the x8 PCI-E 2.0 like the P45 or 16X PCI-E 2.0 like X48.

Could it be a bandwidth issue?

That is a hell of alot of variance for just using a *little* faster CPU and 2 gig more memory. Especially in the HD 4850 Crossfire test. Same settings and resolution.

Something is up. Have no idea what though
