We still do not know the reason of Pentium 4 processors with 800Mhz Quad Pumped Bus delay, but given that the CPUs are now launched commercially, it seems that all the possible problems are resolved somehow.

Intel has come up with a software patch that is supposed to fix whatever the anomaly is. They also claim that it is an obscure problem that most users would never encounter.
