NV must have purchased stock in a number of PSU manufacturers. Old PSus that supported 'triple-SLI' not can just handle 2, and most normal PSUs that could handle 4 PCIE connectors can just run a single. If true, thats really dissapointing.

Three connectors would be 'acceptable' for a dual-GPU top-tier card though.

thanks for the post, your thinking is along my lines so can't wait to see what nvidia has got lower down.

nVidia could really shoot itself in the foot with all this hype.

No doubt, an entire *sentence*- have we ever seen a product so absurdly overhyped before?

Normally we get maybe a couple of letters, sometimes a company pushes so hard they get a full word, I've even seen some extreme cases where some totally out of line companies had an entire prepositional phrase(the audacity!!)- but a sentence? This stuff is getting out of hand. If we keep allowing companies to churn out their millions in marketting to produce entire sentences before you know it we will have companies releasing paragraphs about upcoming products, you may laugh, but just wait and see.

It does seem as if they will crank whatever amount of power into launch Kepler is required in order to beat the 7970 in reviews. Might turn out to be a great OC card and I'm interested to see their retail cooling solution.

Dang those 480s are calling me :(

Sell $470s for $150 ea, sell blocks for ~$60 ea, buy 480's, eat $160 on blocks... Ugh if only my 470s didn't OC like hell spawns.

Has anyone found a place to pre-order yet? Even if they do a 50% mark up like AMD did, I'd still buy Nvidia just because I know it will be faster!

Sure, I'll take your pre-order. I'll even ship out same day they launch :D

Come on, you can trust me ;)

The silence from NV continues to deafen. Nothing to see (or hear) here. Probably would make more sense to have a single stickied Kepler rumor thread and let everyone pile in/on as they see fit.

If these cards get too powerful, you might have to upgrade to an SB-E type of platform to get the full performance out of the card. ;)

Given that this is a thread about ad copy, I'm not sure what the "issues" actually are, but I'll give it a shot.

I agree that the claim made in the ad copy may or may not be true.

On March 23, NVIDIA Will Launch GK104 Kepler GTX 600 Cards

Saw this date mentioned at a few forums today, it's a Friday. When is AMD's mid range card launch ? Do we have a official date, semi-official from that old chart ?

Where have you been?

http://www.anandtech.com/show/5541/amd-radeon-hd-7750-radeon-hd-7770-ghz-edition-review

The other cards awaiting a launch are the HD 7600 series, which will be lower-tier mid-range and the HD 7800 series, which will be lower-tier high-end.

Last I heard the 7800 series was supposed to launch this month, on March 6th. It'll be launched very soon.

Heh, you guys are funny.

Boo Premiums though, do not want.

Give me stupid deals after a refresh, or give me no upgrade at all!

At first I was like "meh", stock sucks.

So I looked up what those $700 dual gpus were doing...

$450 vs $700 - Aww snap...

But then a tide of rage consumed me releasing the hell spawns!

Not this again. No one cares about your GTX 470s that have been overclocked to hell and back and consume one million jigawatts of power.

No one cares about nitpicked benchmarks, either.

How about we stay on topic?
