Red Dead something? Is it any good? I played GUN on the PS2, which was ok, so hoping to find something better.

Not only boring, but if you actually pay attention to what you are doing you'll punch yourself in the throat. Herding cattle? WTF? This is the most overrated game ever.
 
I was amazed at how awesome that game was at first. The good voice acting, the mysterious opening, the huge, seamless area you are given, the graphics, the western theme.

But then it got stale. . .

I would still recommend it.
 
i enjoyed it. pretty good game. some of the missions are lame. but i was addicted to hunting. i loved killing every buffalo in the game. i made them extinct. oops.

The fact that I can run around killing and robbing people and the main character was fine with it. But talk to a hooker and he gets up on his moral high horse about having a wife.... Seriously Rock Star?
 
just goes to show you. the character has at least some values.. lol.

Has anybody gone back to the hookers once Johns dead and you control Jack? I mean Jack doesn't have an excuse, other than not wanting to catch something.
 
The game is fun at first then it gets super boring, I played about 20 hours of it then I dumped it off on the next guy. I bought it for like $25 and sold it for $35 lol
