Well I've just finish stage1 in my modíng projekt of the king of premodded cases - xaser 3
Last week I read a not so good reveiw of the Xaser 3 when it came to case temps which made me think of how I could modify it to cool better and look cooler.
1. Removed plastic grills on the swinging door inside the case (fan holder sidepanel)
2. Drilled one pig hole in place of all the small ones in the sidepanel - but only in the metall, not the plastic beside the handel
3. Removed THERMALTAKE display (pissed me of anyway) and covered the hole with a net - looks like a cars intercooler intake, almost heh
4. Drilled a big hole to replace the small ones in the front intake grill
This helped a lot!!
In the future I'm looking to get a solid casedoor for the xaser so I can put in my own window (don't like the premodded windows) and place the fans in the side panel where I want to. Also adding red neons and leds. And a few other small things.
