Beacuse it's 30% less than anyother place on the web. TD sells it for $180. If you need a battery backup this seems like a hot deal. BTW where are the hot deals you have posted? You asked an asinine question because why? Explain your self.

Yeah this does sound like a burning hot deal. I was going to post it myself. I think this time I'm finally going to get one (wonder if my 10% off card will work?). Remember this is not your average 400VA UPS, it has a 40Ah battery. For comparison an APC Back-UPS ES 350 has a 3Ah battery and the ES 500 has a 7Ah battery. This won't power anything huge but it will power things for a LONG time. I'll try to post more if I get ahold of one.
