Lost Circuits reviewed the SiS Xabre 600... and makes sure to join everyone else in mocking SiS for their obsessive desire to make buzz words for damn near everything. :p

It's abundantly clear that the Xabre 600 still leaves a lot to be desired in terms of image quality. LC image quality comparisons arent exactly very in-depth but it's clear how poor the Xabre looks relative to ATi, nVidia... and well, everyone else.

Some of their benchmark results with the R9000 seem... unusual, and their Spec ViewPerf 7 results definitely not seem to match up with my own experiences.
The review serves it's purpose in giving us a basic look at the Xabre 600 though, and it doesnt exactly impress at all.

They made one mildly interesting comment regarding Trident, and may have bearing on why it's taking so long to hit release...

and if it weren't for some driver problems lingering on, Trident would have already swamped the market with their P4X series of GPUs using the same 130 nm process that looks extremely appealing not only in terms of condensing graphics power but also with respect to power and thermal dissipation.
