one thing i can remember is the xmp bugs? where in lets say asus x99 mobo's can't get 3000 mhz even the ram is rated at 3000mhz xmp. I read somewhere that they have to reduce to 2888 or lower.

I mean i could be wrong. well I experience that when i get my z87 asus. it cant get past 2666 mhz. But when I did bios update it works :)

as far as I know, gigabyte bios also has some bugs initially.

Thats only what I can think of.

But if you guys say no problem, then ok think I will just go for it :)

Yeah, you have to check memory compatibility list before buying a motherboard, specially if you want to run the fastest memory. (Not that it will affect anything but benchmarks)
