x86test has a file you download, run and it creates a bootable floppy. Looking at the floppy, there is only one file, 'x86test'. How does it boot with no other files? And can I add a program to it?

That says it was done with fatload, but I still dont know why nothing else is shown. And I guess it's only one program per floppy? I guess I can't make others with it since I don't know C or whatever that is.

Can I add something to OSDD or is that something that has to be done before compiling?

Also, memtest86 creates a bootable floppy. Why can't it be read in Windows?
