Just doing a quick look through, good deal on a new x850xt , although I just got an x800GTO2 for $150 and 7800GT for $145.

Post if you get more info on this.

Ice cold since its PCI-E. You can get a 7800GT for under $300, which will wollop the X850XT.

If this was AGP it'd be pretty warm

hardly wollops, maybe a few more points in 3dmark, but in games they are on par with each other, within 3-5 fps either way. While the GT has SM3, ATI is known to have a bit better IQ.
