Hi all
Well, two weeks ago I came hone from school and saw something horrible - a metal fan grille on the back of my 6600GT and distorted images on the monitor - my 2 year old brother had gotten into my bedroom, took off my side panel and put the grille on the back of my card and killed it
Well, I've been working hard and have saved up a bit of cash to get myself a new video card - Yippie!
My budget is £150 (I'm english ) which will get me more than a 6600GT or X800GT but not enough to get me a X1800XL.
I did want to get a X800GTO2, but it seems like the only place in the UK that seels them have sold out, which leaves me which three main options
1) Get a X850XT which has just gone on sell and into my price range
2) Get a 6800GT (also in my price range), a friend said the 6800GT is faster than a X850XT which I disagree with
3) Get a Connect3D X800GTO and hope to unlock the pipelines (a lot cheaper than getting the X850XT or 6800GT)
Thanks
