I am stuck with the AGP right now and need an upgrade from my 9800Pro-128mb.

I want the capabilities of the AIW because I do a ton of video work and would like the whole TV-tuner thing but I also love to game online and find that my current card is lacking in COD2 and Q4 online.

The AIW-800xt is actually more expensive than the x850xt but I like all that video stuff. Both are 256mb cards.

Opinions?

If you like the video in/out features & the TV tuner then the AIW is the only choice... games will be a bit slower but still playable & it most likely won't overclock as well as the X850XT either.

Is your processor a 939?

MUCH better investment, with VIVO and everything:

He said AGP, which means no PCI-E. And to the OP, if you need all of that video and tv features, AIW is the way to go.

Look at the link one more time ;)

Yeah but what's he going to do with his S754 or S478 cpu, replace that too?

I'd go with X800XT if you want the tv tuner and video capabilities. If you buy today, you can still get $20 off mail in rebate = X800XT AIW - $287 - $20 = $267

Yeah, I have a S478 Northwood P4 that runs fine at 3.45GHz. Buying a new mobo and cpu in addition to a new videocard is not possible at this time. :(
