x850xt or 6800gs

With all of the hot deals on 6800gs and x850xt i'm thinking it's a good time to upgrade for the up coming ES😱blivion game. Does anyone know if ps3.0 will make a difference?

should i just wait for it to come out? it's just so hard not to get an x850xt for $185! :evil:

185 is so cheap for that card! I would think that would be a good investment.

PS 3.0 should give a performance boost shouldn't it?

Pure speed-wise the x850xt should be faster, and it should have OC'ing headroom as well.

It depends on what games you want to play... SM3.0 is a good boost.

S.M 3.0 is staring to flex its muscles. Games actually look different using S.M 3.0/2.0 shown by SC CT, AOE3 etc.

Is this AGP or PCI-e?
And what monitor resolution?

yeah i'm thinking oblivion is going to flex some serious eyecandy. however, i've heard the developers were running with 256mb 9800pro's? and the xbox360 is running with an ATI solution right?

i'll be going pci-e since i can now 🙂heart:my asrock dual)
i will probably be running 1280x1024. maybe greater, not really sure just depends on what the card is capable of. maybe i should just wait for the game to come out. do you think these deals will still be around in another month?
