x850s and agp?

Hmmm, when they were realised I read *somewhere* that the x850 series had only been released for the new pci slots. now i just noticed and x850 for an agp slot. Is this new? or is it a misprint or something? german website

PE stands for Platinum Edition. So its the same thing.

x850s have been out on agp for awhile...there've been some decent deals on them as well in the past few weeks so if you're looking for one wait for a deal.

if you google them you can't find an agp version, only pci-e but they make it

I picked up an ATI X850XT AGP from BestBuy for $400.00 with $50.00 rebate. I thought maybe it was a price error so I snagged it and sure enough it went up to $450.00 with $50.00 rebate.

I went from an X800pro to the X850XT thinking that the visual effects would be slightly better, but I was wrong. The difference is incredible, especially in Far Cry and HL2.

no overdrive tab. most reviews show a negligable difference in frame rates between PE and non PE.

NEwegg has the AGP x850xt for like like 393..

There is an overdrive tab for the X850XT. It just doesnt load each and everytime you start your computer. The difference between the stock clock settings and the ati overdrive settings aren't very noticable though. Looking over forums now to see if someone has found a fix for it.
