X800XT vs. X800XT PE

Are these two cards reminiscent to the 9800Pro and the 9800XT, just a few more frames on the PE or is there something on that card that would warrant a purchase.
If all I get is a few more frames, I'll get the XT (non-PE), I just wanted to know from you all what you think.

I think the XT is a 500/1100mhz part, and the XT PE is a 520/1120mhz part. I've probably got the mem speeds wrong, but I know that core speed is correct. The difference between the two is probably much smaller than the difference between a 9800 pro and a 9800 XT. Just go ahead and get the regular x800 XT if you were in the market for one of those two cards. You can get one for around $460 on the net.

Actually the non PE memory speed is 500 MHz (1000 MHz).

choose the x800XT and x800XT PE and you will see the specs there:

x800XT = 500/500
x800XT PE = 520/575

difference is going to be minimal... memory is not as important as it used to be and the core speed difference is pretty small (only 4%)

True I would suggest getting the regular X800XT also.
very marginal and the price difference ain't as small as it suggest

HIS IceQ II is amongst the most silent models (if you get a good cooler unit, as some fans on them can rattle).

that is pretty, i was looking for something around 460. I currently have an order with CDW for a PE but it's on backorder (it was 458 + tax/shipping = around 490). If I find a decent dela on an XT, i'll take that
