There are stock levels of the X800XT in the USA?

In all seriousness though, X800XTs and X800XTPEs are almost impossible to find here in the US. The same goes for Nvidia's 6800 Ultra and 6800 GT cards, although the GTs are starting to show up from certain retailers (eVGA, BFG Technologies seem to have them pretty regularly).
Vanilla 6800s are available wide, and X800Pros are similar to the 6800 GT - starting to see the light of day, but I'd still call them limited.

How is 6800/6800GT/6800 Ultra stock down under?

I dont think the X800XTPE's are launched in Australia yet. I havent seen any news about them.

As for the 6800's, well I just checked out the website of a few of my suppliers, and they dont have stock of them. I have heard that there were shortages of those cards out here too :S
Actually, I have just found a place which has some of the following, which I can get:
Leadtek A400GT TDH 256M FX6800GT $940
Leadtek A400TDH FX6800 128Mb TV/DVI $660
ASUS V999GE 256M FX6800 TV DVI $850
ALBATRON 128MB Geforce FX 6800 $630

However, I believe stock would be very limited for them. I know that those prices I supplied are quite expensive, but that is because of where I would be getting them from (they are a very expensive supplier).
All prices are in the Aussie Dollar :)

But other than those few expensive ones, there is nothing else (although there is more stock of them than the X800XT's, as absolutely NOONE has any X800XT's here).

Cheers,
Christopher Hall

Yeah, that is the problem with the stock levels being low, StoneBridge, retailers are price gouging. High end cards are taking top dollar....I've even seen X800XT and 6800 Ultras going for a high as $1000 (US dollars), which is about 1,400 Aussie, off of retail websites...it's kind of ridiculous.

A good site for easily checking availability in the US is newegg.com.

0 X800XTs in stock.
0 6800Ultras in stock.
2 models of 6800GTs in stock for $450.
2 models of X800Pros in stock for $470 and $495.

any agp x800xt is pe (platnum edition, clocked 520/560); while the pci-e cards come in both standard xt and xt-pe.

I'd say the availability of x800xt's is really bad in the US, but not necessarily zero. There's always a few for sale on e-Bay at ridiculously inflated prices and on the rare occassion, a vendor or two might pop up with them in-stock (only to instantly sell out).

Speaking for myself, I was one of the fortunate ones that happened to stumble across a post that led me to where I could order a retail BBA one at regular MSRP ($499.95), which was actually a bargain considering all the inflated prices for OEMs. This was back in mid-June and it's been fairly dry since then.
