Gotta love the blue.... I am so tired of red and green wars. I like this better than the gold that Gigabyte was throwing around. We'll see how this clocks but it is said to be just as quiet as they come. It seems that there are so many X800XLs out there now.

warning for 56k users, that is one BIG pic!! the card looks great though!

as far as ramsinks go, gddr3 runs really cool compared to previous generation vid ram. so far, i dont think there has been any REAL need for ramsinks.

Yeah, I'm fairly unimpressed with the Zalman cooler.

I like the Silencers better, but still think they could be improved upon quite a bit as well.

The card looks very nice though, and at least they're doing something. I'm trying to think, is Sapphire the one that put the Orange and black Silencers on and called it their Toxic line or something?

Oh, and Thugs, have you seen Gainward's dual 6800 Ultras in SLI with 512MB each, and a single watercooling block? Bet you'd like to get your hands on that and tweak away to see what you could come up with eh?

Heh, don't know much about the Silencers (they don't fit on my particular card) but having a Zalman myself, and I think it's pretty nice. Quiet, and as long as your system temps are pretty cool and isolated, it does a great job. Certainly tons cooler than stock.
