I currently have a x800xl and am looking to upgrade on the cheap. I am looking to play games like crysis and cod4 on medium @ 1280x1024. I though about the 7900gt or x1950 pro.

current setup

amd x2 3800+ S939
2GB ddr
80GB hd
x800xl
450w OCZ PSU 12v @ 26A
2 dvd rw
 
You will not find a 8800gt for 100 - 150. Try more like $280-320+.

1950pro will net you 25fps medium settings with Crysis. COD4 you can probably max it out without AA.
