I had the 6600gt and all i had to do is run nTune and I was given overclocking options in my video properties. Dose ATI have anything like this? I'm assuming there is some sort of third party app that people use to overclock the ATI cards. I fully intend on Googling it but I would like a consensus on which method is most preferred.

ati tools, though the new catalyst upgrade will give you ati tray tools which is a bit more tweakable imo

So, ATI does have an overclocking tool. I think I herd something about it but isn't it limited to like 15% OC? Well whatever, I'll have to check it out. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I'm pretty sure you have to download it. It would be nice if ATI included something in the software that was apart of the driver for overclocking. I e-mailed Anand asking him what he used in his X800 XL review to do the overclocking. If he replies then I'll post it.

I did a google search and found some sites that you can download the ATI tools from but I'll have to wait till i get home form work to try it out. I want to wait till i get some more insite on what people from Anand think as well.

ATItool. Does the job well. Read "tutorials" on how to properly OC using it (max core/mem clock finder or whatever button).
