X800XL fan setup same as the X800 Pro?

From what I can see, looks about the same. Trying to get a feel for how loud an XL would be compared to the pro I currently have.

the x800, x800pro and x800xl are all the same. but if you are upgrading, there is no point in getting an xl over what you have now. get an x850 xt or wait for r520.

Well, I'm moving from a motherboard with agp to one with pci-e, and I was happy with my pro, so I'm just looking for something comparable. Thanks for the info on the coolers :thumbsup:

don't buy anything until the next gen nvidia cards come out, IMO, as they will kill all cards out today. pci-e has no performance advantages over agp now so if you get the same card you will see no dif.

x800xl has a different cooler that a x800pro and its not the same card.
