I have a BBA X800XL. I removed the stock HSF and installed an Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 rev.2 on it a few months ago, but recently the fan stopped working. If I plug the stock HSF into the fan header on the card, it doesn't work either, so I am inclined to think it is the header on the video that is broken, not the fan motors.
I would like to plug the video card fan into a different header, but it doesn't fit into the motherboard headers. Does someone sell an adapter that would let me plug the ATI fan connection into a MOLEX or motherboard fan header? If not, I might have to send my card back to ATI for an RMA, an unnatractive option since I don't have another PCIE video card I can use in the meantime.
