Edit: Woot, the store near me still has some in stock. Going to check on the price this afternoon.

Ok dumb question.....
I see 6 stores near me...the nearest 3 are in light-grey text....the last 3 are in bold.
So all 6 have it? or the last 3? I'm confused.

Web site said 2 closest stores had stock. I drove 35 miles to the closest one, who said they had 3 in stock. But they couldn't find any.
Next closest store showed 9 in stock. The store I was standing in called to verify, but the second store couldn't find any of the 9. Imagine that. Think any employees have new video cards? Wonder what the eBay price is going to do.
The "manager" for the department told me that even though the card was advertised in their weekly ad (though at $249) since he was out of stock he had no further obligation to me. "We can only stock so many". Of course, no raincheck since NOW he says it's a clearance item. No substitution either. I told him I'd take a 6800GT for the sale price and he looked at me like I was nuts.
I'm filing a complaint with the FTC.
You know, even though I lurk here I honestly don't fit the "devil" definition. Clueless customer service lost BB another customer.
