X800pro non vivo to X800XT

Hi guys...I know I am late to the game and all, but I am getting a X800pro. I know about the lazer cuts and flashing of vivo's is the easiest...however. If I just connect the two dots and hard mod the GPU will it be a 16 pipe pro? Additionally are there non vivo bios's out there because I know dell has made some non vivo XT's

Any and all help is most greatly appreciatated
