X800GTO2 or 6800GS?

Which one of these cards offers better all around performance?

The GTO2 is only viable if you're going to unlock the pipes on it, otherwise the 6800GS is the clear winner.

Hell man, those cards are still in production. I was at Sapphire's FAB not too long ago. It's just that the stock of them vanished quickly thanks to that mod. Sort of like how the Opteron 165s vanished.

Expect places to have more GTO2s around the 20th

Well yea, I knew the stock GS was just as fast, I'm just curious how a faster than stock board like the XFX compares. At some point it's going to eat in to the 6800 Ultra's minor lead over the 6800GT/GS.

i would say get the GTO2, i have it and it performs great, i scored 6100 in 3Dmarks05

and it's not much of a gamble. it's FAR more likely for the flashing to be successful than unsuccessful, if you do it right.
