The 6800GT would be a shoe in, however the one you listed above is a XT which performs more or less like a 6600GT.

The GTO is definitely better. That other card is not a 6800 GT at all but an 8-pipe 6800 XT. Although if you can unlock one of the quads, it could be a much better deal.

No.I just checked that one out.

http://techreport.com/reviews/2006q1/geforce-7600-7900/index.x?pg=10

I would get the GTO

the only GTO i see from that review is the x1800GTO

i was wondering the same thing... i wish THG's vga charts were as good as their CPU charts

thanks! so it looks like the x800gto generally beats out the 6800 with a couple exceptions... i wish they had some 3dsmax benchmarks, but oh well. I thinkj i'm gonna go for ATI for the first time ever

LOL... well thanks for that. I used to be on the ball with this stuff, but there are just too many little codes now!

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2593 review of the 6800gs which looks like it out performs the GTO by quite the large margin.

yup, 6800gs/x800gto, the x1800GTO/7600gt

The one i listed is 20 dollars more than the x800GT0. It also comes with a factory overclock and warrenty. 25Mhz is a minor over clock though, but it will add maybe 2-4 FPS to some games.

Thanks guys... i decided to save some money for now and stick with what i have (my new system is based on the AsRock dual sata, so i can use my 5900 ultra for now and upgrade to pci express later).

I've also put my P4 2.8 up for trade (for a video card or 2x1gb pc3200), so go check out my FS thread and offer me a 7900 for it :D
