X800 XT Platinum Edition or 6800 Ultra

Yoda does polls that will result in flames. :roll: Anyways we know that Anandtec is Nvidia bias and 6800 ultra should win by a large margin. Can't buy either of those cards locally anyways.

Not in my town. Only high end cards I've seen at my local Best Buy are 6800GTs

Interesting, I have seen occasional gt or x800xt, and lots of pro's, but that is it. Needless to say, none of them have been on sale, but the price of the x800pro is dropping a little. Silliest paper launches ever, I would say.
 
From a performance perspective (discounting price and availability and 2 slot vs. 1 slot design and loudness of the fan or heat from each card), i'd pick x800xt pe since it wins in 80% of the benchmarks.
