Hi.

I'd like to know if any of you could give me the name of an online store where I could buy one, for Canada. Of course (and that's what I'd prefer) the store can be located in the United States, but they must be able to ship anywhere in Canada.

I did found a local store with XL's not so far from where I live, but there's certainly something wrong with their price.

ATi recently said the price for its reference ATi X800 XL is $299.99. No problems there, that's awesome. But, once I translate $300 U.S to Canadian dollars, it gives almost exactly $370. So even if I go a bit over that price, just in case, and I'd put it at $399.99...it's still just that.

Well...the store I'm talking about priced it at $499.99 ! You read it right. So there's something wrong.

I don't want to pay that much.

I looked at Newegg, Ebay and Tiger Direct CA, and I found none. Even none on the ATi web-site.

I'd appreciate some help here.

I'm sure I saw it available at ATi.com. Sure at 100%. That was last week, when I verified for the first time there. Today I tried again (it's about why I'm posting this thread), and the same link I book-marked had nothing. I mean, no products displayed. Like if they were out of stock. Argh...why oh why. I planned all I had to, for my system upgrade. And only now, at the end, I realize I cannot upgrade this week since the GPU I want isn't even (seems to) available...
 
Yes and I was a sucker and bought one. It is supposed to be faster then most 6800GT's and you cant get a 6800GT for much less so I just decided to get one for my new system. I am not happy about paying that much more then I should though. It best work really well.

IMHO, $350total is a good amount for this card
