Forgive if an ignorant question? But I haven't seen any articles on this or do only GT6*00 series go SLI. I got my DFI Ultra D MoBo yesterday and would like the future capability of SLI.

ati is currently working on their own version of sli. in the mean time, only 6800GT's, 6800 Ultra's, and 6600GT's will support SLI, and only on motherboards with Nvidia's Nforce4 SLI chipset

Rumor has it that ATI's implementation will allow the current X800 and X850 series to run in SLI, only they call it AMR or MVP. And as far as working in a nVidia board, I doubt it. The way they do SLI tech is different then nVidia so I doubt they would be cross compatitble.

I thought Asus has a 6800NU that can run in SLI?

6800nus can run sli but for 325 x2 = 650 you can buy a 6800ultra for less.
