If there is disabled pipelines similar to how theyve done it in the past, then there is a possibility. Nobody has done too much with this card yet. Its hard to say.

I think they would have to disable pipes though if they use the same board, right?

technically couldn't you enable 16 pipes? Its gotta be pretty baddly nerfed to have only 8 enabled, so its a crapshoot for enabling any pipes I'd say, don't expect much.
