X800 Pro

What is a good 3rd-party program to overclock my video card? It's my dad's computer, which he bought from Alienware so i cannot be certain of the brand of the x800 Pro in here, otherwise i would try unlocking the 4 disabled pipelines and oc it to an x800 XT PE.

Any information on a good overclocking rate others use would be great as well! Thanks!

Thanks a lot! Are you overclocking using ATITOOL while you have the Overdrive feature turned on? Or do you always keep it off?

I never use the overdrive feature as it only ups the core by like 10 and is pretty useless, just leave it off.

Could anyone help me with the memory timings? I am not sure what to set them at. I have an ASUS A8V Deluxe and they're all on Auto in BIOS.

My system specs are in my sig.

Whenever i try to use ATITool and i go above 520mhz core my PC locks up and a few seconds later the monitor goes haywire displaying scattered colors. Is this supposed to happen?

Any help GREATLY appreciated!

your screen goes screwed when youve reached your overclocking limit. as for the mem timings just lower them (lower the better) and if theres no artifacts then your ok, if there are then reset them back to what they were before.
