Let's say, in order to compete with the 6800 GT, ATI makes the X800 Pro cheaper, lets say, around $250. Would that be a good buy in that case?
 
I think it's a good buy@MSRP regardless of the 6800GT's performance.

Just stay alert and watch for hot deals. I got this $299.99 BFG GT because I was a search bot for hot deals on it 😉
 
What about the supposed X800GT? With DOOM3, ATI needs to release such a card for sure. That or get their OGL team on the ball. 😀
