Let's say, in order to compete with the 6800 GT, ATI makes the X800 Pro cheaper, lets say, around $250. Would that be a good buy in that case?

What about the supposed X800GT? With DOOM3, ATI needs to release such a card for sure. That or get their OGL team on the ball.
