X800 or 6800GT

I am planning on a new video card for my new PC and I ahve seen alot of reviews and other stuff but I still cannot decide to go nVidia or ATI. Any suggestions would help alot. I will be ocing if that helps any. Also what brand to get would be appreciated. If you could give me a link to the product you suggest it would help too

take the GT,
yeap performance definately better with 16 pipelines.

now they are even talking about price vs performance ratio that many would agree the X800 XT is not worth the price it is at the moment baring in mind that the 6800 GT performance so well for its price,
also, has a decent overclock over the X800 XT

Does it really perform the best out of mall of them though? I want one that overclocks really well too. ANd I dont think I need a lifetime warranty. I would be buying a new video card in like a couple years....

I got the gainward golden sample, you are garenteed ultra speeds. If you want the fastest, go goldent sample.

but as for 6800gt vs x800xt i dont know

"Way faster?" Definitely not. Better value? Yes.

The 6800GT > x800pro, but its not by that much. (except in d3)
