I am upgrading my computer and I have see that at newegg. X800 Crossfire is only $189. Would be picking up 2 and a Crossfire board be worth it in the long run.

I am running a 6800GT as of right know with a AMD 64 3000+ Oc'd to 2.4 GHZ. and have a gif of RAM.

No it would not be worth it, IMHO. One new X1900XTX would beat 2 of those older cards in most situations I think.

X800 Xfire = Pathetic.

Score some more cash and score yourself 1900 crossfire, if you're determind to get Crossfire.

If not, either blag a single 1900 now, or wait for the 7900 to launch to see what that's like in comparison.

any x800 crossfire is worthless i think. get a X1800 or higher in crossfire. one x1800/x1900 should outperform x800 in crossfire.

yeah, do what nirach suggests. wait for the 7900GS/GT/GTX to come out.

Not to mention the resolution limit (1600x1200 @ 60hz)

Two X800s for $380? It's cheaper certainly than an X1800 but in a few monthes I would gander that would change a bit . . .

well i have visiontek x800 pci-e now since they were like 55after rebate

is there any performance gain by going xfire on x800?

cuz i am thinking about upgrading to sli in a yr...which i'd think x800 would only cost like 50 bucks without rebate
