x800 crossfire?

Does anyone know when the x800 crossfire cards are supposed to come out? I have an x800XL and I'm curious to see how that will bench in crossfire mode compared to some other high end cards.

I only see the x850 crossfire edition, not the x800

that is a crossfire READY card, NOT a crossfire edition card. Any x800 series or x850 series that is PCI-e is crossfire ready...to my knowledge anyway

That's what Ive read alot also....the Link that ReMeDy posted is not a CrossFire Master Card, it's just a ready card like you said. Although I have read that a X850 Master card, whether it's a Pro, XT or whatever, will run with any X800 card. Namely my X800 Pro ( crossfire ready ) will work with a Crossfire X850 XT MasterCard. But the XT will downplay itself to the spec's of my X800 Pro ...

Edit: They probably listed it as CrossFire ready to sell more....Marketing?

Heres a little something directly off of ATI's Crossfire FAQ page....



4. When will CrossFire graphics cards be available?

A. Radeon X850 CrossFire Edition cards will be in production at the end of June and available mid-July. Radeon X800 CrossFire Edition cards will be available early in August.


I have yet to see the x800 CF editions, only the x850...shame on you ATI.
