X700 Pro or X800 Pro ?

My brother wants to upgrade his current rig....right now he has a Semprom 3000. Well he noticed the cooling on the HIS X700 Pro and like's it. I was showing him the X800 Pro ( even the Toxic version ) , and that he could change the cooling. Found both cards to be similar in price on certain shops. He will not get the X800 over the X800. I told him the X800 is much better. But he dont care, he would rather pay the same price for the X700 just because it has the ICEQ blue cooler on it. What do you all think ? I told him to put on a silencer, or shop around here to see if anyone would sell the cooler....
 
punch your brother 🙂 jk. Let him do what he wants, I say. Let him feel the pain when he figures out the X700 is weaksauce.
 
Remind the silly noodle that no one will be able to SEE the top of the VGA card whether the side panel is windowed or not! Show him a sexy looking 6600GT if he wants looks, and he'll save a lot of money, while getting better speed than an X700.
