X700 In laptop with a 1.6 Turion

Im looking at laptop with an X700, i wanna do some light gaming, will this do me ?

Ah sweet. I'll defo get this laptop then. I was looking at pentium M laptop but it only came with an x300.

I take it Im alot better off going for the turion laptop with the X700 over the X300 in the pentium M laptop.

QFT!! I have a Radeon Xpress motherboard which has a derivitive of the desktop x300 (probably the same performance as the mobility x300). I got an amazing 5-10 fps in half life 2 with all the details on low. Thankfully I have a 6600GT now.

You need to try for a model w/1 gig of ram and at least 128 megs of VRAM, anything less than that is not good at this point.

Im quite tight at the mo with cash. 720 was my top.

Well, the 64 megs or ram will really kill your performance in any game since about 2003, but is it your choice
