I downloaded the RC2 version and when I tried to install it the RC1 codes
don't work. What do I need to do to get key codes that work ?
I thought the RC1 codes were supposed to work with RC2.
Is it possible that the version I downloaded from Microsft is the final
version and how can I check which version it is. I burned it to a cd and
it has an upgrade and full install option.
 
When you downloaded the release candidate they should have emailed you the license. However, since it has been released or is nearing release (I can't remember) it wouldn't surprise me if they are stopping all new RC installs.
 
I found valide key codes on the internet but need to activate by phone
because they have already been activated by the origanal user. I don't like
the idea of useing someone elses codes but it's just still the beta that I can
use for awhile and since it's not for retail sale I figure i'm not stealing or
taking money away from microsoft for software I can't buy from them.
Dose that make any moral sense or is useing recycled beta keys still
stealing.
