x64 pro nvidia drivers

anyone here know when nvidia is gonna get around to releasing the 7900 series drivers for windows x64? im sitting here twiddlin my thumbs waitin and hopin to hell they come out before my 7900gt gets here monday. also, will the 32bit drivers work ok on x64 or not? i really dont wanna reformat at this point, not because i dont have everything backed up but becasue i dont wanna reisntall all of it lol. specially not download source and hl2 again. lemme know

The 32 bit drivers will not install on x64 at all; new drivers are required. If it were that easy, I'd have already migrated to x64 as my daily OS and just installed my HDTV tuner's 32bit drivers...

Basically you're at the mercy of the hardware vendor (Nvidia in this case)...I expect it shouldn't be too long before they update their x64 drivers, but owners of hardware from smaller companies (like many TV tuners, including mine) are basically screwed.

synthdude2001 what kind of tuner do you have if it is a hauppauge it will be early to mid summer for the drivers for the usb model pvr2 and 64 bit beta drivers are out for the regular tuner there are some beta drivers floating around for certain other tuners also.

MyHD MDP-130. The only company (that I'm aware of) that has (early) 64-bit drivers for their HDTV tuners is DVICO, and I'm still not even entirely sure that they have basic stuff like cable/QAM timeshifting working yet. I paid a lot of money for the tuner and I'd rather not have to sell it and get another one just to move to a more modern operating system, but at this point it's kinda looking like I won't have a choice.
