X600XT would it fit into a regular PCI slot ?

Not if it is the PCI-E version.

Are you going to buy one of these to go along with your uber fast 5900XT? Or have you gotten rid of that already?

No, the PCI-Express is a different type of card slot. your Abit NF7-S does not have a PCI-E card slot on it. Do a search on X600 and you will see a few recent posts on how it is just a Radeon 9600Pro in PCI-Express disguise.

Actually, the X600XT is a little bit faster than a 9600XT, although the X600P is supposed to be clocked the same as a 9600P.
