x600 pro crap card!!!!!

Ok we were talking about each others rigs in computer electronics today and I had th best rig in the class. Anyways this kid wanted me to recommend him a card. I told him either the 6600gt or the 6800nu because he mentioned he wanted to play future games. Then my friend starts talking about getting a x600pro and im like what are you crazy? And he starts saying all this stuff about his x600 and how great it is. Im like wtv you cant run anything at high settings or even medium and he says he can run any game thats out on full. I meantioned the fear demo and he said yes all maximum and bf2 all maximum. Im like wtv my card (6800 LE ultra) outperforms your card by 2x and I cant even do that. But he keeps denying that his card is crap. I wasnt really getting mad because i knew that he didnt posses much computer knowledge. Anyways you guys in this forum have to help me out!!!! I am going to print this and show it to him so please tell him his card is crap compared to mine!!!!!

Also i was reading benches and that card cant even hold 20fps steady 1024x768 in newer games!!!!!
 
If I were you I wouldn't waste my time on him. But if you must prove your point and make him look stupid, just print a copy of video card reviews with benches from a repectable site.
 
tell him to do google....x600pro benchmarks and 6600gt benchmarks

6600gt PWNZ the x600pro...and has shader model 3 😀
 
the x600 pro is about equivalent to a 6500 probably

now their isn't a huge difference between a 6800 nu and a 6600gt

but a 6500 is probably going to be twice as slow
 
The x600 is just a PCI-eXpress version of the 9600 Pro AGP. Not to crappy, but definitely nothing compared to either a 6600 or 6800 card.

X600 Pro is like a wannabe 9600 Pro. This is 2 years old. OLD.

It can't run sht. Fear on full, hah. BF2 on full settings, you crazy as hell, takes a X800Pro/X800XL/6800GT to do that. And those cards are like 4 times as powerful as the X600 Pro.
 
better to pick up a 6800gt which is fairly cheap and wait for a year and a half for an affordable sm 4 videocard
 
X800GT would be a better choice at this point then a 6600GT, but it's his money.

X800GT is a joke, 6600GT would be a better buy.

Unless of course, the X800GT is substantially cheaper than the 6600GT, then I might reconsider.

Some X800GT comes w/ a 480 core, you might have to reconsider

Now seriously, the X600 is a low end card and maybe able to play some games however the 6800's are much more capable at running the higher resolutions and newer games.

Its like comparing a 100hp 4 cylinder to a 250hp V6 > sure both can drive 60mph however which has better acceleration, top speed & braking etc. THE V6 DOES!!!

Plane & simple the 6800 is just better than the X600.

NOTE: If he doesn't believe that a 6800 is better than an X600 then its unlikely he can comprehend the technical jargon we are referring to that are key to understanding why one is better than the other. Which means that if he is happy with the X600 then he saves money.
