So I'm trying to build a new comp by end of Q1 09 and was window shopping tech's, after reading so many rave previews of the Lucid chip, is it realistic to assume that an OEM would slap this chip on their mobo considering that X58 will have native SLI and no need to implement the $30 NF200 Northbridge. Maybe the R.O.G. series from Asus? who knows, all I know is that I would luv to see this tech implemented

No, it wouldn't. I doubt a single OEM will buy and use the chip. At least not with the X58 boards.
