X58 Intel RST

I'm curious if my system will benefit from Intel RST. I've downloaded the Intel Driver Update Utility and it didn't find any drivers as it only goes far back as Intel 6 Series Chipset boards. I thought there were Intel RST drivers before X58?

I'm looking for drivers for my EVGA board.
