So I'm running a X5670 on a P6T Deluxe V2 X58 board, and its failing Prime95. All settings in BIOS are set to AUTO.
This is not a brand new chip obviously, something I got off eBay. So I'm starting to wonder if the CPU is damaged or if running things in AUTO is the cause as P6T is not a server board.
What's the verdict? Do I need to dial in specific BIOS settings for the X5670? Or save myself the time call this chip a dud and move on?
