x4 9150e stuck in ht 2.0?

Ht Link speed on this chip is 999MHz according to cpu-z. Bios tells little considering its oem. Gateway based RS780 780g based motherboard.

I know little in the way of Amd chipsets, the board itself is currently running ddr2 800MHz at full speed and i do have cool n quiet disabled.

Specs of the x4 9150e claim a 1.6Ghz ht link speed,story goes some 780g boards were known for locking the 9150e to ht 2.0 speeds basically hindering this thing slower then a average 9150e.

Jumper holding this back?faulty cpu-z reading? Bios date 8/06/08 with no updates known.

Most likely the MB holding it back.
Had a similar issue with a A-II 640 in a low end MB and the HT was also stuck at 1Ghz, It refused to run stable with even the slightest OC.
Dropped it into my MSI K9A2 Plat and it jumped straight to 2Ghz HT, It is very noticeable improvement, Did a quick OC on the 640 and it seem to hold stable at 3.2Ghz and a 2.2Ghz HT for the 10 min I was watching temps, Runs cool (Love Propus and Regor).
I would have stayed with it if I had not just got my hands on a PII 1100.
