Odd the marketing stance Intel has taken on overclocking... They could really make it easier for everyone if they didn't lock the multiplier... You wouldn't need an "overclocker/enthusiast" chipset if you could just bump up the multiplier. I could even OC on this NF4 SLI Intel Ed. board.

If you make it too easy, you break your market-segmenting model.

What intel wants is a few people who OC their chips and create buzz, and most people thinking it sounds like too much work, and buying higher-binned parts if they want more speed.

I think they followed AMD model with the top FX line been unlocked and all else locked.
