Hi,

Just got word from Intel that the launch is being moved to October 11th to give the manufacturers time to stock the channels. G35 is being moved out again so our preview of that board with the G33 roundup next week is going to have to wait but we will have the NV MCP73 available.

Yawn. Intel is fucking up this X38, BIG TIME.

I hate NV's shitty chipset and now INtel's playing its stupid arrogant game so now it's time to consider RD790/Phenom again - fuck you, Intel, fuck you NV, period.

Hay if you feel that strongly about it buy AMD . No one cares what you buy.

Well, I know you're a real weirdo so let me help you out here: in case it's bothering you then how about keeping yours shut? Noone gives a sh*t what you think about my post.

Got it?
Great - now you can see how didd you started your post...

If the chipset isn't ready for prime time Good for intel . Better late and get it right than send it out not up to par.

I mean AMD looked bad in the review done @ AT .

1.) the reviewer had to make excuses why its performance was so bad.

2) The server broke at the end of the review. Intel has taken the gloves off man . Their not sending out to other board makers the kits to optimize this chipset on their boards as they have in the past.

3) Intel makes M/B also and my wifes badass is a great one. She loves it. Why should intel help the other board makers. If they want to sell M/Bs they will buy the chipsets.

Intel has built everthing they need into this chipset. I say good for intel . Its about time. Intel is going after the enthusist community. Fugger showed tues. Intel has what it takes end of story.

Yeah, you are a weird cookie, indeed :D - no need to waste my energy with figuring out WTF this anti-AMD PR crap have to do with Intel being late once again... :D

Forget trying to talk any sense into this walking blunt instrument named T2k.
You've made your point quite well to those that care to listen and digest.

Repeated delays = chipset not living up to expectations.
I wonder if hector ruiz is consulting intel on the side? he seems to know a thing or 2 about repeated delays...

maybe it's just that, like conroe, p35 is pretty freakin' good and very difficult to get much of an improvement upon. more likely it's delayed b/c it's designed more for penryn and intel keeps delaying penryn. maybe it isn't just amd's lack of competitiveness and intel really is having problems with penryn? naw!

@T2K: get over yourself. You must be a huge intel fan to be this pissed off over a 3 wk delay. DAAMIT fans are used to waiting 6 months for...crap. At least intel has been delivering the goods for the past 18 mos. I hadn't bought an intel system in this century until my e6750 so they must be doing something right. I don't see myself buying amd cpu's any time soon, either, since intel appears to have an onslaught of cpu innovation on the horizon. If intel wants to hoard their mobo profits or delay their updated mobos for 3 wks then that's a small price to pay for consistent reliability/performance.
