x38 and 8800?

Im building my first high end computer, i posted a while back and people said to get a p35 or and X38, i found an X38 motherboard on newegg for the same price as a P35 on tankguys so i ordered the X38, now i got it and read that it supports ATI crossfire, does that meen it wont work with my 8800 GTX? i dont plan on running SLI but i do plan on overclocking my 8800

It will have no problems with your card. You can even install two 8800s. You just can SLI them.
