System setup..

Abit ip35 pro
x3350
xigmatech 1283
gskill 2x2gig
OS. XP 64 all updates..

OK.. here are my IDling temps...

CPUZ, Realtemp, settings when IDLE

is this considered GOOD???

i thought the temps would be lower?? Also one thing I noticed is that the CPUZ speed is different and will switch up to the correct speed when I do a task..??

please advise... I will post results with PRIME running..

your cores 3 and 4 are a little out of line but otherwise you're good. you need to disable all power saving features to prevent the multiplier from going down to x6 during idle. idle and loads temps are normal for cores 1&2. I would re-seat the hsf and try to get all cores closer to the same temp, however. You might need to try re-seating and reapplying thermal compound a few times before you get it right. If you keep trying and core 4 is still out of whack then you might try lapping the hsf and/or ihs.
