Just finished putting my media box together and it's got a Gigabyte GA-965GM-S2 mATX board in it. I've stuck 2x1GB Buffalo DDR2-667 sticks of ram in, and it's got a stock e6300. Since this IGP has been dramatically improving in performance with driver revisions that finally enable all of its features, I figured this thread could be of use to some people.
I just finished getting Vista Home Premium on it and installing the new 15.0.2.1132 drivers released March 14 (according to Gigabyte). Haven't done any benchmarks beyond the WEI performance index in Vista, but it scored a 3.9 for Aero and a 3.7 for gaming performance, which beats my 9700 mobility in my laptop (3.6/3.5). I must say I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed.
If anyone has any benchmarks they would like run on this hardware, I'll be happy to do it over the next couple days while I'm playing around with the system. Gonna hit it with 3DMark03/05 soon.
