X2 Vs. Opteron

Hey there. I'm building a comp with these specs as of now (below). I just havent decided on whether or not I should get teh opteron 170 or X2 4200. Prices are the same but I will more than likely not be overclocking it any time soon (years). Would I still be ahead to get teh opteron? or GO X2 4200 (should i step it up to 4400? i could if necessary). Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat.. you will probably have most people telling you to go with the optereon. The opteron is going to give you additional cache, been tested to a higher degree and will probably run a little cooler. I have priced the 170 at about $399 (retail). If your not going to o'c it may be worth it to you to go for the 175 (2.2) for an additional $61 and get an aftermarket heatsink.
